In 2009 AAH partnered with the Patients Association to research just how aware consumers were of the benefits of their local pharmacy. The results made sobering reading with 46% of people not consulting their pharmacist for health advice and 55% delaying seeing their GP due to difficulties getting an appointment.
In response, AAH has launched All About Health, a national consumer marketing campaign to promote health awareness and encourage people to visit pharmacy. In the first few weeks the campaign featured across trade and consumer magazines including C+D, Pharmacy Journal, Red, FHM, Yours, Top Sante and Metro generating over 3 million viewings of the campaign. And the initiative continues to go from strength to strength with over 500 AAH customers already benefiting from year round professional marketing tools:
