Delivering cost and service improvements to the AGW health community through supply chain efficiencies.
Avon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire supply management confederation (AGW) has partnered with AAH Hospital Service to manage and streamline its pharmaceutical supply chain
About the Partnership
The long term, 10 year partnership has targeted milestones and commitment at senior board level from both parties. The partnership will drive process improvements to deliver supply chain efficiencies, thereby reducing transaction costs and minimising stock levels held in hospitals.
As a bespoke partnership, it is driven by understanding the real needs of the customer through dedicated project sponsors from both parties. The input and co-operation across the partnership will enable the delivery of a cost effective supply chain to the health care community within AGW.
Key Benefits:
“We chose AAH as our strategic partner because they gave us the best and surest route to our mission, which is to deliver cost and service improvements to the health community through supply chain efficiencies. They have an exceptional track record in modernising the supply chain, from driving out costs to continuously developing new strategies and providing leading e-business solutions. This, combined with their experience in change management, and a business ethos and culture that shares the Confederation’s aims for honesty, transparency and patient-focus, has given us a real partner in change”
