Alcon Announcement

From 23 January, customers who place emergency orders for Travatan, Duotrav and Azopt from Alcon Pharmaceuticals Ltd will have those products delivered the next day by AAH Dextrous Solutions using the AAH fleet.

If customers cannot obtain stocks of Travatan, Duotrav and Azopt from wholesalers then they should contact Alcon’s customer services department, as they do now, on 0845 601 4096. Alcon will continue to be responsible for validating those orders and authorising AAH to deliver stock.

Commenting on the new arrangement Mark James, group managing director of AAH Pharmaceuticals, said, “By utilising AAH’s existing national infrastructure and holding stock closer to customers and patients this new service will provide a more efficient route to deliver these products when emergency orders are placed with Alcon.
